How to celebrate the return of the light
If you know me, you know I love the power of rituals. Intentional rituals nurture connection and wellbeing.
The 21st of December marked the celebration of the winter solstice, known as Yule. It’s one of the oldest winter celebrations in the world. It was the celebration of the shortest day of the year, the return of the Sun, and a festival of rebirth. This year, Yule occurs from December 21, 2021, to January 1, 2022.
Energy Flows Where Your Attention Goes
And the power of a spiritual practice in these challenging times
In current times of change, chaos, and fears, having a spiritual foundation is so important to stay in a state of calm and trust. If we move through these challenging times only from the mind we will exhaust and burn ourselves out. A spiritual foundation can have many different forms like meditation, practicing gratitude, or any ritual that helps you to align with your heart and soul.
Do you know that feeling of your heart beating faster in response to a stressful situation? Or, your palms get sweaty or you start breathing more shallow when you’re confronted with an overwhelming task or event.

Cosmic Alignment 08-08
Every year on and around the 8th day of the 8th month of the year (August 8th), there is a cosmic alignment called “the Lions Gateway”. The Lions Gate is a time of increased cosmic energy flowing between the physical and spiritual realms. With August's Full Moon (and even before that) we all experienced more restlessness than normal.
It's time to open up to receive those frequencies. If you can go within more today, meditate and be present.
4 tips for grounding
Do you feel insecure, unbalanced, quickly overwhelmed, anxious, confused, or chaotic in this time of change?
Then it helps to consciously work on your own grounding.
Instead of Fear
Due to the global Pandemic and the underlying collective fear, a lot of lives and businesses, are affected. And as I am receiving a lot of questions of my highly sensitive clients on how to deal with this I thought to share some food for thought and tips to go through this!
Visualization is a very powerful technique to use the power of the mind to, among others, feel energetic, powerful, get things done and feel self-love. Visualizing means to recall or form a mental image. In therapy, visualization is often used to mentally rehearse an action or bring a client into a state of relaxation. It is such a powerful tool to positively make use of the mind and body connection.
An ancient Sufi Prayer to connect you to your higher self
I believe in the power of synchronicity. And the more I open up to it, the more synchronicities I’m experiencing in my life. That is also why I decided to dedicate this blog post about something that through many ways recently came into my life; the wisdom of the Sufi’s. And in particular, the powerful and simple prayer they used to connect to the essence of our being, The Latifa.
If you work with me or have been following me for a long time, you may have heard me talk about the large number of external stimuli, millions of kilobytes, that our neuro system has to process per second. And how the amount of stimuli has increased over the past years due to all the changes globally and in technology. I often make the connection with training your brain muscles to be able to deal better with this large amount of stimuli that can stress and worry the brain.
One of the ways of doing that is to use the positive influence of the breath.
Because ... .. "The Mind follows the breath".
